I did regiister the theme with the purchase authorization code, but the documentation did not explain updating the theme or bundled plugins. Envato Market plugin? Please advise as Visual Composer recently released a critical update to address a vulnerability.

actually we always place the latest version in our theme's package.
But don't worry you don't have to update it immediately after update realize. Even the old version of WPBakery works correctly.
