trying to add new items with shortcodes to Aw player on homepage, but when I add new items their title dont show - however, the sample files already in the theme do ? I've looked everywhere and cant see what im doing wrong. The attachment shows x2 sample files with full title and artist listing, but mine only show artist and all the files in media section etc have all fields populated

Title and Artist in our players come from tracks data. You can edit it manually in Media chapter in admin. Like this - https://prnt.sc/re4unc
